OUR STORY
Since 1964, Park Ridge Community Church has been a place where people gather to worship God, grow in faith, and build meaningful relationships. What began as a small chapel has grown into a church with a heart for reaching families, serving our neighbors, and sharing the hope of Jesus.
Through every season, our heart has remained the same: Loving God. Loving People. Making Disciples.
Our Beginning

A Small Chapel. A Big Vision.
Our story began in 1964 when Pastor Jerry Sebranke held the first service of Park Ridge Chapel in a modest, run-down building. What started as a small gathering of believers was built on a commitment to God's Word, a passion for sharing the Gospel, and a desire to make a difference in the North Bothell area. Over the years, God continued to grow and shape the church, preparing Park Ridge for new opportunities to serve.
A New Chapter
In 2007, Pastor Brad Sebranke, son of founding pastor Jerry Sebranke, stepped into the role of lead pastor. During this season, two churches came together as one unified congregation, becoming Park Ridge Community Church. This new chapter continued the church's commitment to biblical teaching, authentic worship, and reaching people with the love of Jesus.

A Vision for Our Community
For years, Park Ridge carried a vision to create a place where families could gather, children could grow, and relationships could flourish throughout the week. In 2021, that vision became a reality with the opening of The Ridge Activity Center and the beginning of Ridge Christian Academy. These ministries created new opportunities to connect with families, invest in the next generation, and build lasting relationships with our neighbors.
Growing Together
In 2022, Park Ridge outgrew its existing sanctuary and moved Sunday services into the gym at The Ridge Activity Center. Every Sunday, a dedicated team of volunteers transforms the gym into a place of worship. While the setup may look different from a traditional church sanctuary, the purpose remains the same: gathering together to worship Jesus, grow in God's Word, and encourage one another.
And our story is still being written.
Our Heart for the Community
The church is called to make a difference beyond its walls as guided by the great commission (Matthew 28:18-20). Two questions have helped shape the heart of Park Ridge:

These questions inspire us to invest in the next generation, serve our neighbors, and create opportunities for people to experience the love of Jesus in practical ways. From children's programs and Christian education to community gatherings and outreach events, our desire is to be a church that genuinely loves and serves the people around us.

We believe everything begins with our relationship with God. Through worship, prayer, studying Scripture, and daily obedience, we seek to love Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength.
Loving People
God's love moves us to love others. We strive to encourage one another, build meaningful relationships, strengthen families, and serve our community with compassion and generosity.
Making Disciples
Following Jesus is a lifelong journey. We are committed to helping people grow in their faith, live according to God's Word, and share the Gospel with others.
